Followerus (“we”, “us”) operates followerus.com, a free set of Instagram analytics tools. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Usage data. Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this to operate the service, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage.
- Tool inputs. Keywords you search and public Instagram usernames you analyze. Analysis results are cached in our database so repeat lookups are instant.
- Cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies (for example, session cookies for administrators) and may use anonymous analytics cookies. We do not sell personal data.
Public Instagram data
Our tools analyze publicly available Instagram profile information only. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or any data requiring a login. Cached profile metrics are refreshed periodically and used solely to provide the analysis you request.
How we use information
- To provide and improve the search, checker, and calculator tools.
- To protect the service against automated abuse.
- To measure aggregate usage of pages and features.
Data sharing
